About Dr.Cindy Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen received her Optometry degree with distinction in 2021 from the University of Waterloo, where she also completed her undergraduate degree with a minor in French Studies.

During her studies, Dr. Nguyen spent her ocular disease internship in Fort Frances, Ontario, where she had the opportunity to help launch the first Vision Therapy and Neurorehabilitation Clinic in Northwestern Ontario. As a student, Dr. Nguyen volunteered to provide eye care services in Northern Haiti. She has a special interest in dry eye management.

On her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys baking bread and sweets. She also enjoys tending to her growing collection of houseplants. She is a new resident to Whitby, and is looking forward to exploring the Durham region, and serving the community.

Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
